Raytheon names Yuse technical services chief

Rick Yuse has been appointed president of Raytheon Company's Technical Services unit. He succeeds Bryan Even, who left the company to pursue outside interests, Raytheon said.

Yuse has held a variety of roles in his 31 years at Raytheon, principally with the company's Integrated Defense Systems business, including as vice president responsible for programs such as the Ballistic Missile Defense System, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense, Upgraded Early Warning Radar and the Sea-Based X-Band Radar.

He most recently served as vice president and deputy general manager of the technical services unit.

Raytheon of Waltham, Mass., has 73,000 employees worldwide and had annual revenue of $20.3 billion in 2006. Raytheon ranks No. 6 on Washington Technology's 2007 Top 100 list of the largest government prime contractors.
