ATS buys Reliable Integration Services

ATS Corp. has acquired Reliable Integration Services, a network systems integrator for defense and civilian federal government customers. Terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition of Reliable Integration Services Inc. is effective this month. Reliable is now a unit of ATS.

Reliable's 37 employees have designed, implemented, managed and maintained networks of multivendor software and systems for commercial enterprises and government IT organizations. Reliable offers expertise in network engineering, integration and management, with a remote managed service that provides a way for organizations to outsource their information technology needs.

Reliable also offers a Web-based tool that provides ordering, inventory and billing consolidation for telecommunication circuits and components.

Valerie W. Perlowitz, Reliable's president and CEO, will join ATS' senior management team. Current employees of Reliable Integration Services will have the opportunity to work across ATS' businesses.

Reliable Integration Services will continue to be located in McLean, Va., where ATS also is based.
