Science Applications International Corp. will deliver IT support services to the Navy Personnel Command through a five-year, $52.9 million contract.
Under the contract, SAIC of San Diego will provide support for manpower, personnel, training and education aspects of the Navy Personnel Command in Millington, Tenn.
The services range from service-oriented architecture and Web-enabled applications development to disaster recovery and continuity of operations.
SAIC offers scientific, engineering, systems integration and technical services and solutions to the government and commercial sectors.
The company, which has about 44,000 employees and had annual sales of $7.8 billion in fiscal 2006, ranks No. 3 on Washington Technology's 2006 Top 100 list of the largest federal IT contractors.
