Acunetix Ltd., a Web security software developer, released the fourth version of its Acunetix Web Vulnerability Scanner, designed to help enterprises detect vulnerabilities, such as SQL Injection and Cross Site Scripting.

Because Web applications are accessible 24 hours a day and receive and deliver content directly from databases, they are attractive targets for hackers. The vulnerability scanner offers protection by automatically auditing the security of Web sites and Web applications.

The software crawls the Web site, launches several Web attacks, such as SQL Injection, Cross Site Scripting and Google hacking, identifies vulnerabilities and proposes fixes.

Power for PCs

Aphel Ltd. launched its vertical series of rackmount power distribution units to support standard and blade servers.

The newest in a 200-product line, the MT3 Series models provide power in a vertical design. The demand for high-density power solutions pushed the company to develop the vertical 10-kilowatt solutions.

MT3 features total power ranging from 5,000 watts to 10,000 watts, as well as optional metering or remote monitoring capability.

Using the rPower, users can read the high-resolution color display from as far away as 12 feet or through the enclosure door perforation.
