SPC wins Defense health management deal

System Planning Corp. of Arlington, Va., has been awarded an $11.5 million contract from the Defense Department for force health protection and readiness.

SPC will provide management of personnel and programs, security, records and data, communications planning and outreach support to DOD's Office of Force Health Protection and Readiness.

The contract, which has a one-year base with two annual options, involves accessing, collecting, maintaining, and analyzing deployment-related documentation relevant to the Directorate for Deployment Health Support and the overall mission for force health protection.

The office supports each military branch and their medical providers by monitoring military medical requirements and by tracking the health, exposure risk, readiness, medical treatment and health information for all deployed forces.
