SBA grants low-interest recovery loans to homeowners and businesses that have suffered losses as a result of disasters. The system processes loan applications via the Web to speed direct loans used to assist disaster victims. It is part of an SBA modernization initiative to improve efficiency of disaster loan processing.

SRA has worked with the Disaster Credit Management System since 2002. Under the new task order, SRA will continue to upgrade the system to support increased loan processing. The company will do this by changing software, upgrading hardware and maintaining software and hardware architecture. SRA also will update system documentation and furnish support to systems users.

SRA's team includes Absulon Technology Partners Inc., Beckett Consulting Inc., Cormac Corp., iGenesis Corp., SuperSolutions Corp. and Unisys Corp.

The task order was awarded under the Chief Information Officer - Solutions and Partners 2 Innovations contract, known as CIO-SP2i, which allows federal agencies to purchase IT hardware, software, systems and services.
