Defense data center taps SRA again for support
SRA International Inc. won a two-year task order worth up to $17 million for enterprise architecture and database management to support the Defense Department's Defense Manpower Data Center.
SRA International Inc. won a two-year task order worth up to $17 million for enterprise architecture and database management to support the Defense Department's Defense Manpower Data Center.
Under the task order, which is for one year with two six-month options, SRA International will continue to support the manpower center and other programs with several services, including enterprise architecture, database design and management, research on smart-card issues and software development. The company's team includes Dreifus Associates Ltd. Inc., Star One Inc., MSW Consultants Inc., Rox IT Solutions and RGII Technologies Inc.
The Defense Manpower Data Center maintains an archive of personnel, manpower, training, security and financial data for the Defense Department. For more than 20 years, SRA International has performed IT and analytical support of the center's programs and systems, including the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System, Common Access Card and Tricare National Enrollment System.
Fairfax, Va.-based SRA offers IT services and solutions to federal government agencies. It employs 4,800 workers and had revenue of $881.8 million for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2005. The company is No. 27 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of prime federal contractors.
