Chicago, St. Paul name new tech directors
The mayors of St. Paul, Minn., and Chicago have appointed new people to lead their technology departments.

Andrea Casselton will lead St. Paul's Office of Technology, Mayor Chris Coleman announced March 24. Casselton was formerly lead information architect of the user experience group at US Bank.
Casselton, who starts April 17, will oversee information technology, citizen service, marketing and the Office of Cable Communications.
Hardik Bhatt will serve as Chicago's director of the Department of Business and Information Services, Mayor Richard M. Daley announced last month.
Bhatt previously was deputy director of Information Technology and Planning for the Traffic Management Authority in the Office of Emergency Management and Communication. Before that, he was manager of software technology for the Chicago Police Department.
