Stanley finishes Morgan Research buy

Stanley Associates Inc. has completed its acquisition of Morgan Research Corp. Terms of the acquisition, which was first announced in January, were not disclosed.

The acquisition brings Stanley Associates high-end science and engineering expertise to expand its systems integration and professional services solutions, the company said in a statement.

Morgan Research, a privately owned company in Huntsville, Ala., has a broad customer base within the Army and civilian agencies such as NASA.

Stanley Associates of Arlington, Va., is a privately owned company that offers systems integration and professional services to the U.S. government. It has 1,800 employees and had annual revenue of $282 million in 2005, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.

The company ranks No. 53 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
