Tyler Technologies Inc. has won new contracts with four cities in the Northeastern United States to provide application services.
The four cities, all already Tyler customers, are Lawrence, Mass.; Norwich, Conn.; Wethersfield, Conn.; and Kittery, Maine. The new ASP contracts are valued at more than $1.8 million.
Through their purchase of Tyler's Munis ASP solution, each city will have its applications and data hosted at the company's regional office in Falmouth, Maine. The hosting solution offers ongoing support, maintenance and upgrades of software applications, hardware and operating systems.
By using Tyler's Munis ASP service, the cities help their IT staffs focus their attention on strategic initiatives rather than routine IT support tasks, the company said.
The new contracts make 54 customers using Tyler's Munis ASP solution.
Tyler of Dallas has more than 1,400 employees and had annual sales of $172.3 million in fiscal 2004, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.
