Anteon lands Marine radar systems work

Under the contract, Anteon of Fairfax, Va., will provide engineering, acquisition and logistical support for the development of two radar systems: the 3D Highly Expeditionary Long Range Air Surveillance Radar System and the Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar. These mission-critical IT systems will be used in the war against terrorism, the company said.
The company also will perform engineering, modeling and simulation program management, business and acquisition management resources for Marine Corps radar systems.
Anteon is an IT and systems engineering and integration company whose primary customer is the federal government. The company, which has more than 9,500 employees and annual revenue of $1.3 billion, ranks No. 13 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
