SRA completes Spectrum Solutions buy

SRA of Fairfax, Va., signed a definitive agreement last month to acquire the Vienna, Va., provider of enterprise solutions to the federal government.
Spectrum's customer base within the federal government includes the departments of Homeland Security and Health and Human Services. The company generated about $15 million revenue over the past 12 months.
The additional capabilities SRA will acquire will enable it to continue to serve federal government customers looking to modernize, consolidate and unify their financial, human resources and supply chain management systems.
SRA provides IT services and solutions to federal government agencies. It employs about 4,600 workers and had revenue of $881.8 million for the fiscal year ended June 30. The company is No. 27 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of prime federal contractors.
