McDonald Bradley wins Defense data architecture deal
McDonald Bradley Inc. will create a global data architecture that will support the sharing of intelligence information across the intelligence organizations within the Defense Department.
A data architecture project designed to enhance the sharing of intelligence information throughout the Defense Department also is expected to improve analysis of threats to U.S. forces fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.
McDonald Bradley Inc. won the $8.1 million contract with the Defense Intelligence Agency to create a global data architecture that will support the sharing of intelligence information across the intelligence organizations within the Defense Department.
The Herndon, Va., company will use a service-oriented architecture approach for the project. The goal is to promote easy access to and sharing of intelligence data among a wide range of end users within the department. Once implemented, the framework will enable analysis across a broad range of threats.
The contract is part of the department's Intelligence Information Systems Data Layer project, an initiative expected to run for several years.
McDonald Bradley is a privately held IT company specializing in visual intelligence services, service-oriented architectures, independent verification and validation, and Web and systems development services for the federal government.
