ManTech wins $125 million in new national security work

ManTech International Corp. won several new contracts and recompetes worth more than $125 million from federal agencies for national security programs.

The Fairfax, Va. contractor, which provides IT, intelligence technology and engineering solutions to the federal government, received the awards in October, but did not issue announcements or name specific contracts or clients due to the sensitive nature of the work.

Under the contracts, ManTech will provide services that detect threats to personnel, information and property from hostile intelligence organizations, organized crime rings, terrorists and advanced technologies. The company also will provide data exploitation, visualization, counter-analysis, knowledge management and technology integration and operational support services.

ManTech employs about 6,000 people and had 2004 revenue of $842.4 million. It is No. 21 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of federal prime contractors.
