Air Mobility Command re-ups DRC for process re-engineering

Dynamics Research Corp. has won a $7.9 million contract from the Air Force Air Mobility Command to continue helping the command improve its air mobility operations worldwide by re-engineering key operations and procedures. The one-year contract has four option years.

Under the contract, DRC of Andover, Mass., will work with the command's Director of Operations (A3), Requirements and Resources Division to re-engineer processes that give the command a single voice for establishing approved operational capabilities and related requirements for all of its air mobility elements.

DRC will help the customer leverage new technologies to enhance the mobility team's ability to plan, schedule, task and direct operations around the globe. Specifically, DRC will help the customer reach a common operating picture, real-time situational awareness and collaboration among a wide variety of military personnel.

DRC, which has more than 1,960 employees and annual sales of $275.7 million, ranks
No. 69 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
