Tyler Technologies inks municipal software deals

Tyler Technologies Inc. has won a pair of local government contracts totaling more than $5.1 million.

Under one contract, worth more than $4.1 million and announced Oct. 26, Tyler Technologies of Dallas will provide its Odyssey Case Management software to the Clerk of the Circuit and County Courts of Miami-Dade County, Fla., and the 11th Judicial Circuit Court.

The project includes implementation of the Odyssey Case Management software for civil, probate, family, domestic violence and mental health cases, along with electronic document management. The software also will manage judicial assignment and scheduling and court filing fees.

Under a separate contract worth $1 million, announced Oct. 13, Tyler will deliver its EDEN software to service financial, payroll and citizen services applications for Kalamazoo, Mich.

Tyler's system also will integrate with the city's asset management tools, provided by GBA Master Series Inc. of Shawnee Mission, Kan.

Tyler offers information management solutions and services for local governments. The company has about 1,400 employees and annual revenue of $172.3 million, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.
