Anteon wins two federal deals worth $43.5 million

Anteon International Corp. this week won one contract worth $29.8 million from the Interior Department and another worth $13.7 million from the Health and Human Services Department. Both deals have options up to five years.

In the first project, Anteon will provide the Offshore Minerals Management Organization, a part of the Minerals Management Service,
with a wide range of IT services, including systems operation and integration and application development.

The company also will help develop an initiative known as Outer Continental Shelf Connect?a project to move Offshore Minerals Management services to online delivery. The work will be performed in New Orleans; Camarillo, Calif.; and Anchorage, Alaska, the company said.

In the second project, Anteon will provide program management services for the Office of Refugee Resettlement within the Health and Human Services Department's Administration for Children and Families.

The company will supply experienced staff to conduct monitoring, data collection and perform evaluations of state and local grantees providing services to people eligible for the office's programs.

To facilitate its mission of assisting refugees to achieve economic and social self-sufficiency, the Office of Refugee Resettlement administers programs that offer temporary cash and medical assistance, employment services, job placement and English language training.

Anteon of Fairfax, Va., has about 9,500 employees and annual revenues of roughly $1.3 billion, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas. The company ranks No. 13 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
