Anteon wins Navy systems engineering work
Anteon International Corp. will provide surveillance systems engineering, software development and test and evaluation support to the Joint and National Systems Division Space and Naval Warfare Center.
Anteon International Corp. won a five-year, $26.5 million contract from the Navy to provide surveillance systems engineering, software development and test and evaluation support to the Joint and National Systems Division Space and Naval Warfare Center in San Diego, the company said today.
Under the contract, Anteon of Fairfax, Va., will provide systems engineering, prototype and logistics support, as well as software system engineering, design, development and configuration management. The company also will provide test and evaluation support for the development of surveillance systems.
The San Diego center provides the Navy with research, development, testing, evaluation, engineering and fleet support services for command, control and communication systems and ocean surveillance. It also provides information resources to support joint warfighters in mission execution and force protection.
Anteon is an IT and systems engineering and integration company whose primary customer is the federal government. The company employs more than 9,300 employees worldwide and had 2004 revenue of $1.3 billion. It ranks No. 13 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list of federal IT prime contractors.
