The Senate Sergeant at Arms is looking for new telecommunications solutions to upgrade or replace services. The office may merge its voice and data infrastructure and move from a time division, multiplex, voice network managed solution to an IP or IP-enabled solution.The solution should include necessary telecom switching equipment, replacement of or an interface to the adjunct systems and operations support system software. The system must offer broadcast fax, voice conferencing, voice mail, Web conferencing, video teleconferencing, call center and broadcast phone message functions. Responses are due by Aug. 5. The technology should include administrative support tools for electronic case filing, docketing and management as well as automated witness preparation and litigation support tools. Contact John Young at john.young2@usdoj.gov.The Navy wants IT-based electronic security and workflow management solutions and services to upgrade automated access control and workflow processes at shipyards in Norfolk, Va., Portsmouth, N.H., and Puget Sound, Wash.The Navy seeks to improve common-area security at these three sites, increase interoperability among shipyard automated access control systems and support workflow management via common access cards.
