Networking and IT security provider AEP Networks Inc. of Somerset, N.J., plans to buy V-One Corp., an Internet security company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of June, AEP officials said. Rockville, Md.-based V-One's core customers include the Defense, Homeland Security, Justice and Treasury departments. Margaret Grayson, former V-One president and chief executive officer, will head the new Rockville, Md., division, which will be renamed the Government Solutions Group. Alien Technology Corp. of Morgan Hill, Calif., acquired Quatrotec Inc., a provider of radio frequency identification solutions and project management to the air transportation industry. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The acquisition will boost Alien's air, sea, ground and homeland security-related RFID applications, company officials said. The company will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Alien. Quatrotec principals Matthew Connelly, Scott Ure and Dominic Della Maggiora will continue to lead the Millbrae, Calif., company. Affiliated Computer Services Inc. has completed its $405 million acquisition of the human resources consulting and outsourcing business of Mellon Financial Corp.
