$500 million DOD contract split four ways

Four companies will share a $500 million, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to provide engineering and technical services to the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center, according to the Department of Defense.

Arinc Engineering Services LLC in Annapolis, Md., Northrop Grumman Space and Mission Systems Corp. in Fairfax, Va., Science Application International Corp. in San Diego, and Teledyne Brown Engineering Inc. in Huntsville, Ala, are the contact winners, according DOD.

The Operational Test and Evaluation Center is in Albuquerque, N.M., with branches in Colorado Springs, Colo., Lancaster, Calif. and Fort Walton Beach, Fla., officials from Teledyne said. Teledyne's work will include systems engineering and integration; operational test and evaluation; software development, verification and validation; mission operations and analysis and range operations, officials said.

Teledyne will support testing of new Air Force systems and major modifications to existing systems. The company also will offer support for rapid testing of special programs and projects.
