Mutlimax wins support work for Army Corps of Engineers
The company will provide information technology support services for the Directorate of Public Works in Fort Lewis, Wash.
Multimax Inc. won an Army Corps of Engineers task order to provide information technology support services for the Directorate of Public Works in Fort Lewis, Wash., the company said today.
Under the task order, Multimax will provide a range of IT services, including help desk, system administration, geographical information systems analysis, computer-aided drawing, database administration, programming, Web site operations, graphic design and system status and configuration.
Multimax teamed with Anteon International Corp. of Fairfax, Va., for the Fort Lewis project. The task order is valued at $2.3 million for the work's base period and options, which will end in November 2006.
Multimax won the task order under the Air Force IT Services blanket purchase agreement ? a five-year, $650 million initiative that allows the Air Force, Defense Department and other federal agencies to purchase a range of IT services at discounted General Services Administration schedule prices.
Multimax is one of eight companies competing under the blanket purchase agreement. The others are the Centech Group Inc., RS Information Systems Inc., Sumaria Systems Inc., Lockheed Martin Corp., Northrop Grumman Information Technology, General Dynamics Corp. and EDS Corp.
Headquartered in Largo, Md., Multimax provides enterprise IT services and solutions to federal defense and civilian agencies. It has 250 employees in 13 locations nationwide and annual revenue of $31 million, according to the company's Web site.
