Accenture Ltd. won a $98 million, five-year contract from Arizona to offer outsourced management services for telecommunications systems to the state's executive branch agencies.

BearingPoint Inc., McLean, Va., won a $31 million, three-year contract from San Diego County to develop and implement in phases a Web-based integrated property tax system that will reduce the overall cost of ownership, improve data accuracy and provide the flexibility necessary to adapt to changes in California property tax laws.

Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., IBM Corp., Lockheed Martin Corp. of Bethesda, Md., and Pragmatics Inc. of McLean, Va., won a $550 million, 10-year contract from the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. for application development and maintenance, organizational and management support, data management and software process improvement.

CACI International Inc., Arlington, Va., won a $27 million contract from the Army Forces Command for war-gaming simulations, including programming the simulations, maintaining related databases and training reserve personnel to use simulations.

Cubic Corp. of San Diego won a $71.4 million, five-year contract from the Army, Army Reserve and National Guard to produce and field simulated combat training systems.

DRS Technologies Inc., Parsippany, N.J., won a $5.4 million contract the Space Dynamics Laboratory of the Utah State University Research Foundation in North Logan, Utah, to develop infrared sensor modules for the Wide-field Infrared Survey Experiment mission of the NASA Medium Explorer program to create a stellar infrared map more than 1,000 times more detailed than were previous surveys.

EDS Corp. won a $73 million, six-year contract from Rhode Island to continue processing health care provider claims and other financial services to the state's Medicaid management information system.

EDS also won a $46.5 million, 58-month contract from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to identify Medicare fraud in Florida, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, and operate the Florida Benefit Integrity Support Center and the Florida Medicare and Medicaid Data Analysis Center.

Enterprise Integration Inc., Alexandria, Va., won a $40 million, five-year contract follow-on from the Army under the Single Army Logistics Enterprise program, to help the Army combine its national and tactical logistics into a fully integrated, single end-to-end enterprise. The Army awarded the original contract, worth $20 million, in 2003.

General Dynamics Corp., Falls Church, Va., won a $36 million, three-year contract from the Air Force for centrally managed logistics support for the Combat Information Transport System, including communications, emergency engineering, remote monitory and software updates.

Harris Corp., Melbourne, Fla., won a $57 million, 54-month follow-on contract from the Federal Aviation Administration for additional support of the program for the Weather and Radar Processor, used by Air Route Traffic Control Centers since 2002 for real-time weather data.

Hewlett-Packard Co. won a $6 million, three-year prime contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to work on the reliability of the Transaction Control Protocol/Internet Protocol, on which the Internet is based, to improve mission-critical computer networks used during combat and related operations.

Identix Inc., Minnetonka, Minn., won an $8 million contract from the Los Angeles County Regional Identification System to completely replace hardware in the LACRIS network, used by all of the county's law enforcement agencies, with Identix live scan systems.

MTC Technologies Inc., Dayton, Ohio, won an $8.1 million, four-and-a-half-year prime contract from the Defense Department's U.S. Transportation Command for systems engineering and acquisition, test and evaluation, and configuration management for its Global Transportation Network Program Management Office's command and control system.

SI International Inc., Reston, Va., won an $11.5 million, five-year prime contract from the Air Force Space Command for engineering, planning and programming for a Global Positioning System that is part of space and intercontinental ballistic operations operated by the command to defend North America.
