Alliant draft RFPs hit the street
Draft requests for proposals for the multibillion-dollar Alliant Full and Open and Alliant Small Business contracts were released Thursday by GSA.
The General Services Administration yesterday issued the draft requests for proposals for the multibillion-dollar Alliant Full and Open and Alliant Small Business contracts.
Alliant is a 10-year, information technology service program that combines Millennia and Answer, two of GSA's IT services contracts. The Alliant Full and Open contract is worth $50 billion, and the separate Alliant Small Business contract is worth $15 billion.
The government plans to hold two pre-solicitation conferences for industry and other interested parties on both procurements April 18 in Washington and April 26 in San Diego. Comments on the draft RFPs are due by June 3.
RFPs for both Alliant contracts are expected in July, and awards will be made in June 2006. GSA plans to award up to 20 Alliant Full and Open contracts and up to 40 Alliant Small Business contracts.
