DISA reissues net-centric solicitation

The Defense Department has reissued a notice to buy products to help move its Net-Centric Enterprise Services program to the Web.

The Defense Information Systems Agency this month posted a request for proposals for a Universal Description, Discovery and Integration Registry commercial product with unlimited licenses for use with NCES, considered one of the major components of the Global Information Grid, DOD's global network for both classified and nonclassified data.
