BearingPoint names chief risk officer

BearingPoint Inc. has promoted Ron Salluzzo, vice president of the McLean, Va., company's state and local government and education practice, to its newly created position of chief risk officer.

Salluzzo is in charge of risk and quality management and reports to the BearingPoint board of directors' audit committee. Senior Vice President Cathy Pomanti assumes Salluzzo's previous duties.
