Gray Hawk to acquire Symmetron
Gray Hawk Systems Inc. has acquired Symmetron Inc., a provider of modeling and simulation, visualization and sensor technologies.
Gray Hawk Systems Inc. has acquired Symmetron Inc., a provider of modeling and simulation, visualization and sensor technologies, the company announced this week.
The acquisition of Fairfax, Va.-based Symmetron will bolster the company's technical capabilities in the national security area, Gray Hawk said.
Following the acquisition, Symmetron will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Gray Hawk. Former Symmetron Chief Executive Officer Joseph Barbano will become president of the new unit and a senior vice president with Gray Hawk Systems.
Gray Hawk of Alexandra, Va., a provider of IT and consulting services for the aerospace and defense industries, has more than 450 employees.
