DOD makes award to assist military medical network

KSJ & Associates Inc. won a $30 million contract from the Tri-Service Infrastructure Management Program Office to perform program management functions.

The Falls Church, Va., company, which has supported the office since 2000, will provide analytical and technical assistance to TIMPO to support all phases of the acquisition lifecycle, according to a company release.

TIMPO is within the DOD's Tricare Management Activity. The program office installs and maintains a common, standards-based telecommunications infrastructure for over 650 Military Health System facilities worldwide.

The infrastructure includes wide area networks, local area networks and central computing systems.
