TSC makes a deal for radar firm
Engineering services company Technology Service Corp. has acquired radar solutions firm Phase IV Systems Inc. of Huntsville, Ala., for $5.8 million in cash and stock. The deal closed Sept. 30.
Engineering services company Technology Service Corp. has acquired radar solutions firm Phase IV Systems Inc. of Huntsville, Ala., for $5.8 million in cash and stock. The deal closed Sept. 30.
As part of the deal, TSC of Silver Spring, Md., picks up Phase IV's wholly owned subsidiary, PIVC LLC, which makes mi-crowave and signal processing products.
TSC plans to retain Phase IV's 80 employees, including Michael Pope, its president and chief executive officer, as well as its senior management team. Phase IV's federal clients include NASA, the Army, Navy and other Defense Department agencies.
