Eagan, McAllister wins its biggest prize

Eagan, McAllister Associates Inc. won a five-year, $195 million follow-on contract to provide command and control systems engineering and technical support services to the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command Systems Center in Charleston, S.C., the company said today.

The award is the company's largest to date in its 20-year history. It covers services including systems engineering, software development, configuration management, testing, fleet introduction, product improvement, quality assurance, logistics and lifecycle management.

EMA will support requirements for C4ISR systems (command, control, computers, communications, intelligence, surveillance and recognizance). The work will be performed primarily in Charleston through September 2009.

Headquartered in Lexington Park, Md., EMA is a subsidiary of AMSEC LLC of Virginia Beach, Va., and provides technology, engineering and program management support services for the Defense Department, local governments and the private sector. EMA has other offices in Charleston, Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Dumfries, Va. It employs more than 1,000 people and has annual revenue of more than $100 million.
