TCS lands Army tech support deal
Telecommunication Systems Inc. has won a five-year, $20 million contract to provide IT services and systems integration support at seven Army installations.
Wireless data service provider Telecommunication Systems Inc. has won a five-year, $20 million contract to provide IT services and systems integration support at Fort Belvoir in Virginia and at six other Army installations.
The contract was awarded by the Army's National Capital Region Directorate of Information Management's Enterprise Operations and Maintenance directorate.
TCS of Annapolis, Md., will support the directorate in providing its customers with network, application, server, telecommunications and desktop services.
The contract also includes staffing for call center and help desk support.
TCS has contracts with the departments of Defense, Justice and State as well as with commercial and state and local organizations.
The company has more than 570 employees and annual sales of $92.1 million, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.
