Agriculture wants XML extensions
The Agriculture Department's National Financial Center is looking for a vendor to provide support services for implementing Extensible Markup Language publishing extensions to its electronic publishing system. Because the system consists of a variety of hardware, software and components from a wide range of manufacturers, it requires complex and detailed systems integration for its implementation.
The contractor must implement XML publishing extensions to the system and create a mechanism for converting documents to non-proprietary XML formats. Most of the work will be done at the National Financial Center in New Orleans. Responses are due by Aug. 7. Contact Freddie Moses at freddie.moses@usda.gov.
