DeCarlo to lead federal group at Ninth House

Ninth House Inc., a San Francisco company that offers Web-based and instructor-led training, named Sara DeCarlo vice president of its federal market division, company officials announced today.

DeCarlo, a former executive with AT&T Government Solutions and Schlumberger Government Solutions Inc., has been brought in to grow the company's federal business and deliver learning products and services tailored to the federal government, according to Ninth House.

DeCarlo has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, business development and sales to the government.

"The blend of Web-based and instructor-led learning experiences provides an extremely cost-effective and efficient training environment that is well suited for the federal market," DeCarlo said.

Most recently, DeCarlo served as president and chief executive officer of the professional services firm Schlumberger Government Solutions Inc. Previously, she was vice president for business development and civilian sales for AT&T Government Solutions. She serves on the Industry Advisory Council board of directors.

Ninth House clients include Wachovia Corp., Pfizer Inc., the Navy and the Justice Department.
