Army taps Anteon for battle lab work

Anteon International Corp. has won a five-year, $29.2 million deal from the Army Combined Arms Support Command Battle Lab for support services, the company announced today.

Anteon of Fairfax, Va., will support the Army Transformation Plan and combat services community by researching and evaluating logistics processes and technologies, and developing future concepts, force designs and organizational relationships.

The Army Combined Arms Support Command Battle Lab at Fort Lee, Va., is the command's lead for sustaining future force maneuvers and developing force structures by planning war games and experiments and identifying technology enablers and insertion strategies.

Anteon offers IT and engineering services to the federal government and international sector. It has about 7,600 employees and annual sales of $1 billion. The company ranked No. 19 on Washington Technology's 2004 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
