Virginia re-ups DynTek for seat management
DynTek Inc. has won a one-year contract extension from the Virginia Information Technologies Agency to continue providing seat management services.
DynTek Inc. has won a one-year contract extension from the Virginia Information Technologies Agency to continue providing seat management services, the company said. The contract produced annual revenue of $4 million for the company last year.
DynTek of Irvine, Calif., will continue to offer services such as planning, acquisition, installation, management, asset management, secure device destruction and disposal, ongoing maintenance and support and project management.
DynTek also will continue to provide statewide, enterprise-level security audits and assessments as part of the deal.
To increase the efficiency of its seat management solution, DynTek uses a proprietary suite of applications, which provides Web-based support for IT and systems management.
The suite, called ProductivIT, securely collects and catalogs detailed information on every system, making asset tracking, migration analysis and suspicious activity reporting available to its customers, according to the company.
DynTek offers technology and management solutions to state and local governments. The company has about 230 employees and annual sales of $52.6 million, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.
