Northrop Grumman wins SEC imaging contract
Contract, worth $25 million, is for document-imaging services nationwide.
Northrop Grumman Corp. won a $25 million contract from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to provide document-imaging services nationwide.
The services provided by Northrop Grumman's Herndon, Va.-based Information Technology unit will allow the SEC to store, retrieve and prepare all paper documents used for court cases, according to officials of Los Angeles-based Northrop Grumman.
Northrop Grumman's litigation support includes scanning SEC Enforcement Division files, optical character recognition services and conversion of digital data into a Concordance database, a specialized database that supports litigation services.
Work on the contract will support SEC offices nationwide, including Atlanta; Boston; Chicago; Denver; Fort Worth, Texas; Los Angeles; Miami; New York; Philadelphia; Salt Lake City; and San Francisco.
