Smithsonian to get rewired

	The Smithsonian Institution is modernizing its telecommunication systems and needs new services, including conventional telephony, voicemail systems, cables for voice and data cable plants, and voice over IP for all its museums, facilities and offices.

The Smithsonian Institution is modernizing its telecommunication systems and needs new services, including conventional telephony, voicemail systems, cables for voice and data cable plants, and voice over IP for all its museums, facilities and offices.

The Smithsonian seeks proposals from companies that can offer support services for managing its current telecom service, coordinating migration projects from existing to modern technologies, redesigning technical support functions and providing technical communication support operations.
