ManTech wins NSA support services deal

ManTech International Corp. has won a five-year, $22.5 million contract from the National Security Agency to provide engineering and maintenance support, the company announced today.

Under the contract, ManTech of Fairfax, Va., will provide engineering and maintenance support services for mission computer-based systems and communications equipment.

The services provided will include preventive and remedial maintenance services for a wide variety of government-owned equipment. ManTech also will provide specialized training for government personnel.

The award, a strategic win for the company, will position ManTech for additional opportunities to support NSA as well as other intelligence organizations, said Evan Hineman, ManTech's corporate executive vice president.

ManTech, a provider of IT and technical services solutions to the federal government, has more than 5,000 employees and annual sales of $701.6 million. The company ranked No. 36 on Washington Technology's 2003 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
