SiloSmashers enters M&A market
Management and technology consulting firm SiloSmashers Inc. today acquired Denali Associates.
SiloSmashers Inc., a management and technology consulting firm for the government and private sectors, today acquired Denali Associates, another local consulting firm, marking its first acquisition in an aggressive buying spree.
The Vienna, Va.- based company did not say how much it paid for Denali of Gambrills, Md., which specializes in training courses, but added that the deal would boost its revenue by 15 percent, while expanding its staff and regional presence, according to a company press release.
With the acquisition, SiloSmashers adds several new federal agencies to its client base, including the Grants.gov E-Government project, Labor Department, Centers for Disease Control, National Highway Transportation Safety Administration and the Federal Railroad Administration.
SiloSmashers has grown more than 330 percent in one year and plans to take over other firms during the next two years to "sustain this positive momentum," the company said in a statement. SiloSmashers expects to purchase at least one more company this year.
