ManTech wins $33M in homeland security work

ManTech International Corp. of Fairfax, Va., won two contracts from the Department of Homeland Security worth a combined $33.1 million, company officials announced Monday. Both contracts were awarded under the GSA Schedule.

Under a contract worth about $11.5 million, ManTech will perform program management and strategic planning. Under a contract worth about $21.6 million, ManTech will work on the design, development and implementation of information technology capabilities and infrastructure. Both contracts are for three months won four one-year options.

On both contracts, ManTech will support the department's Information Analysis & Infrastructure Protection Directorate, which is charged with identifying and assessing terrorist threats and integrating relevant information, analyses, and vulnerability assessments to identify security priorities.

ManTech Integrated Data Systems Corp., a subsidiary of ManTech International, will perform the work on both contracts. The team of subcontractors working on the projects include Homeland Solutions Inc. of Carlsbad, Calif., and Center for Systems Management Inc. of Herndon, Va.
