DRC unit lands Air Force contracts

HJ Ford, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dynamics Research Corp., has won prime contracts totaling $24.6 million for advisory and assistance services to the Aeronautical Systems Center and Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.

The Aeronautical Systems Center work comprises eight task order renewals, worth $23.2 million, to support the C-17, F/A-22, Airborne Sensors and Propulsion and Mobility program offices for one year. The awards were made against the company's five-year blanket purchase agreement with the center.

The Air Force Research Laboratory task order is for one year and is worth $1.4 million, with four option years. The total contract value of the laboratory effort is $7.6 million, and the order was placed against the company's professional engineering services contract with the General Services Administration.

Based in Andover, Mass., Dynamics Research Corp. reported 2002 revenue of almost $193 million.
