Anteon wins $56 million Navy contract
Anteon International Corp. has won a contract for systems engineering and technical services for combat support and auxiliary systems on Navy ships.
Anteon International Corp. has won a five-year, $56 million contract to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center-Carderock Division.
Anteon will provide systems engineering and technical services for combat support and auxiliary systems on Navy ships worldwide.
S. Daniel Johnson, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Anteon, said the contract expands the company's support of the Carderock division's mission of providing research, development, test and evaluation fleet support and in-service engineering for a number of the Navy's shipboard systems.
Anteon, headquartered in Fairfax, Va., reported 2002 revenue of $826 million. The company has about 7,400 employees. The company was No. 14 on the Washington Technology 2003 Top 100 list.
