McDonald Bradley wins $11 million DEA deal

McDonald Bradley Inc., Herndon, Va., has won a five-year, $11.2 million contract to help the Drug Enforcement Administration connect multiple mission-critical systems, the company announced today.

For this indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract, McDonald Bradley will provide testing, configuration and change management services for DEA's Concorde Project. According to Justice Department records, the Concorde Project will allow agents, analysts and administrative personnel to tap into the agency's legacy M204 corporate database system.

"This contract win underscores DEA's acknowledgment of our expertise in [independent verification and validation services], Web development, systems integration and data visualization capabilities," said Kenneth Bartee, chief executive officer of McDonald Bradley.

Started in 1985, McDonald Bradley specializes in data visualization intelligence tools, independent verification and validation services, software development and Web integration services. It employs 200 people and expects revenue of $30 million for 2003. Revenue for 2002 was $20 million.

Customers include the county of Fairfax, Va., the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Defense Information Systems Agency, the National Reconnaissance Office and the Housing and Urban Development Department.
