CACI gets $154 million Army intelligence contract

CACI International Inc. has won a $154.7 million contract from the Army Intelligence and Security Command to provide mission support to the command and other national intelligence agency sites and tactical units worldwide.

The contract, known as Genesis II, is a one-year deal with four one-year options. Under the contract, CACI of Arlington , Va., will provide information technology systems to help combat commanders collect intelligence and deploy countermeasures against enemy communications and intelligence systems.

Ken Johnson, CACI's president of U.S. operations, said the Genesis II contracting team will provide Army intelligence with a blend of operational support expertise, electronic warfare proficiency and logistics knowledge and capability.

CACI, a provider of IT and network solutions for defense, intelligence and e-government, has more than 5,500 employees and annual sales of $843 million, according to Hoover's Online of Austin, Texas.
