CSC wins $170 million in law enforcement, intel contracts
Computer Sciences Corp. has won intelligence and law enforcement systems integration and consulting contracts with a combined value of more than $170 million, the company said today.
Computer Sciences Corp. has won several intelligence and law enforcement systems integration and consulting contracts since April, with a combined value of more than $170 million, the company announced today.
The nine agreements vary in duration and range in value from $100,000 to more than $100 million.
The largest is a contract with an intelligence agency for $114 million over five years.
The awards were made to CSC's Enforcement, Security and Intelligence group, created by the company last summer to support programs enhancing U.S. national security.
Approximately 5,000 employees work for ESI, which is part of CSC's federal-sector business unit. Customers include the FBI, the intelligence community and the departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security and Justice. The company is recruiting additional qualified technical and support staff for the new group.
Based in El Segundo, Calif., CSC employs 90,000 people worldwide. The company was ranked fifth in the 2003 Washington Technology Top 100, and reported revenue of $11.3 billion for the 12 months ended March 28.
