General Dynamics wins $77 million Air Force intel work

General Dynamics Corp., Falls Church, Va., has won a task order worth up to $77.5 million to support an Air Force intelligence unit, the company announced today.

Under this task order, General Dynamics' Advanced Information Systems division will support network engineering and integration tasks of the Air Force's 480th Intelligence Group at Langley Air Force Base, Va.

This contract, which runs through February 2009, supports both the Air Force Intelligence Networking and the Distributed Common Group System networks. General Dynamics will help configure and run these networks by monitoring their performance, managing security and tracking the equipment they use.

General Dynamics, No. 7 on Washington Technology's 2003 Top 100 list, employs 57,000 people worldwide and expects 2003 revenue to reach $15 billion.
