DISA awards 11 $1.5 billion security contract

The Defense Information Systems Agency has awarded 11 companies a space on a contract to provide information assurance products and services, the Defense Department announced last week.
In this indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contract, each company has a minimum guarantee of $550,000, with a ceiling for all companies combined at $1.5 billion.
The winning companies are ACS Defense Inc., Burlington, Mass.; Artel Inc., Reston, Va.; Computer Sciences Corp., El Segundo, Calif.; DigitalNet Corp., Herndon, Va.; Electronics Data Systems Corp., Plano, Texas; Northrop Grumman Corp., Los Angeles; Pragmatics Inc., McLean, Va.; Science Applications International Corp., San Diego; Systems Research and Applications Corp., Fairfax, Va.; TASC Inc., Reading, Maine; and Veridian Corp., Arlington, Va.
