RCI wins $21 million Army base support work

Resource Consultants Inc., Vienna, Va., won a $21 million contract to provide personnel support services to Fort Knox, Ky., the company announced May 2.
Under terms of the five-year, cost-plus-award fee contract, Resource Consultants will manage personnel records, casualty operations and services that handle military personnel retiring from or leaving the Army. Previously, both contractors and military personnel did this work, the company said. About 27,000 soldiers and family members, along with 164,000 retirees and family members will be supported.
Employing approximately 3,000, Resource Consultants is a professional services firm that specializes in strategic consulting, systems engineering, information technology, enterprise outsourcing and supply chain management. The company is projecting $278 million in revenue for 2003.
