CACI Wins $68M Software Support Subcontract

CACI International Inc. of Arlington, Va., has been tapped by Affiliated Computer Services Inc. to help deliver payroll services to military retirees, CACI announced Dec. 18. The 10-year subcontract is worth an estimated $68 million.


CACI will help Dallas-based ACS maintain and modernize a suite of payroll software systems for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service. ACS won this outsourcing contract Sept. 11.

The ACS deal, estimated to be worth $354 million, calls for delivery of payroll services to more than 2.5 million military retirees and annuitants.


CACI will offer development assistance in new software and large-scale systems integration. The company will also review new payroll laws to ensure they are incorporated into the service.
