Find opportunities — and win them.

Identitech Inc. has signed a multimillion dollar license agreement with Miami-Dade County to provide its e-government products and services.

Identitech Inc. of Melbourne, Fla., has signed a multimillion dollar license agreement with Miami-Dade County to provide its e-government products and services, company officials announced Aug. 27.

The parties declined to disclose the exact value of the contract.

Earlier this year, Identitech conducted e-government pilot projects for Miami-Dade's departments of environmental resources and employee relations. The goal of these pilots was to automate processes, provide electronic copies of documents and make those documents available over the Internet to the public.

Because of the successful pilots, Identitech's e-government solution will now be used as the standard throughout the county for electronic forms, document management, process automation, imaging and records management initiatives, company officials said.

The company also has contracts with the department of Defense and Transportation, said a company spokesman.

Identitech provides software solutions for many business sectors, including financial services, government and utilities. The company has about 100 employees and 200 customers.
